Bandweaver supplies its latest generation DAS controller to protect Data Centre fiber connection in Malaysia.
Together with Innovative Energy, their distributor in South East Asia, Bandweaver secured an order for its Horizon Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) controller. This is for a company in Malaysia to protect a 20km optical fiber telecoms cable. It requires protection from third party activity including accidental or deliberate damage. Ensuring business continuity for this Data Centre was key to the procurement decision. Bandweaver manufactures a range of DAS controllers for the security, power, pipeline and data monitoring markets.
