At the recent ADIPEC exhibition in Abu Dhabi, Bandweaver met with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Distribution CEO Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi.

Eng. Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi visited the Bandweaver demonstration, presented in partnership with Huawei’s digital oilfield technology showcase. In addition to Bandweaver this showcase included some of the leading technology providers within oilfield the technology sector. This included Honeywell, SAP and BGP.

Bandweaver conducted an interactive demonstration of the Distributed Acoustic Sensing technology and how it integrates into a larger SCADA system to prevent Third Party Interference (TPI) events from occurring.

Eng. Al Rashdi was extremely impressed with the technology and was convinced this can play a key role in the stated strategy to “be more agile and achieve meaningful improvements in performance in order to keep our [ADNOC] competitive edge… ADNOC is looking at how we can maximize the value of our assets and deliver greater performance. This is in order to ensure the resilience of our business.”

Richard Kluth, Managing Director of Bandweaver who led the meeting with Eng.
