Bandweaver are pleased to have been awarded a major contract for overhead power line monitoring utilising our advanced DAS solution. This is another major win for Bandweaver following an extended competitive tendering process which will see multiple Horizon DAS units deployed to protect several hundred kilometres of power lines.
Power Line Monitoring
With more global focus on energy security and protection of critical national infrastructure this win recognises Bandweaver’s market leading position in the power monitoring sector with the project also deploying MaxView – our integrated monitoring platform that will provide real time information with accurate location data of events. By deploying this solution not only will the operator be able to respond quickly to network faults they will also use the system to plan preventative maintenance activities.
