Bandweaver Technology, a global provider of fiber optic sensing solutions, is delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for two prizes at the Fire and Security Matters (FSM) Awards 2022.

The awards, run in conjunction with the Fire Industry Association are designed to recognise excellence and innovation in the fire and security sectors. Bandweaver Technology have been shortlisted in two categories, for ‘Security Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Fire Safety Systems Manufacturer of the Year’. Read more

South African Mine Conveyorbelt Project – New Contract Win

HMA Group in South Africa recently won a project to deploy 3 FireLaser DTS to monitor several conveyor belts in a mine, these will be utilised for early detection of fire and ensure a rapid response to any alert. The DTS controllers will also be connected to the Bandweaver MaxView integrated software platform which will provide operators of the exact location of any potential fire.

BTS and Bandweaver awarded contracts for 18 FireLaser Fire Detection systems to protect new Istanbul Airport

BTS Yangin, together with Bandweaver Technologies has been awarded a new contract. This is for additional fiber optic fire detection systems for Istanbul International Airport. This is the fourth phase of an ongoing contract. The contract includes 18 FireLaser systems and more than 40,000m of fiber optic linear heat detection cable. The FireLaser systems are being utilised to protect a wide range of assets including both facility buildings, hangers and tunnels. Read more

New Contract Win: Car Parking facility, Amsterdam

We are pleased to announce that SenseTek Fire and Security Solutions has been awarded a contract to supply Bandweaver’s FireLaser DTS for protection of a Car Parking facility in Amsterdam. The car park is a single-story facility beneath 9 office buildings with a total of over 800 parking spaces.  7,000 metres of cable was installed, divided into two redundant loops. Read more
